Hello I’m Stephen, seen in the below photos whilst I film the content for wedding videos.

Having grown up with a passion for films and storytelling I was able to develop my technical knowledge and filmmaking creativity through school & college.

I went on to study a (BA) Media Production degree at university and was lucky enough to complete with 1st class honours. During this time one of my short films was a finalist in the Royal Television Society Awards ‘fiction’ category.

As a result I obtained my first job working for an audio visual & events company where I could be involved in the entire videography process. This led me to filming events all over the UK and abroad and even filming the Queen & Prince Phillip once (which was a little nerve-racking!).

Fast forward a few jobs and years later and in 2012 I decided to start up my own videography company ahead of my first daughter being born (my inspiration to succeed). Limelight Media Productions Ltd was established and the wedding video brand; Shepperson Wedding Films launched.

Since then in 2015 my now wife, Jenny, joined the business as my assistant editor and advisor (behind every successful man is a successful woman!) and we work as an effective team. We have two children; Holly & Poppy, and we have steadily grown the business from year to year, always seeking to improve the quality of our work.

We tend to cater for weddings based in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk & Suffolk but are happy to work all over the UK and even abroad for destination weddings.

We have maintained our passion for discreetly capturing the story of a wedding day as it unfolds and retelling it in a creative, emotive and entertaining way in a style that you choose. The drive for us to produce the best films we can is the rewarding feedback we receive from you our customers when you’re able to relive your special day (hopefully with a few laughs and tears of joy).

I am described by many of my clients as a friendly easy-going professional who makes them feel at ease about the whole process. They say that on the wedding day they hardly noticed I was there filming.

Most of all I love being able to run my own business, work alongside my wife and put my passion of storytelling into producing the best videos I can about love, friendship & family. I look forward to meeting each of you, being apart of your special day and making some new friends along the way!
